Sarah U. Burnett

Sarah is a co-founder of MontVue and a trusted advisor to clients seeking a holistic, long-term approach to wealth management. Since founding the firm in 1999, she has helped shape MontVue’s client-first philosophy and collaborative team model—intentionally designed to support enduring client relationships and shared expertise.

Sarah works closely with clients from diverse backgrounds who value discipline, hard work, and thoughtful planning. She partners with them to define clear goals, make informed decisions, and remain accountable through every stage of life, always with an eye toward long-term outcomes and clarity.

Prior to co-founding MontVue, Sarah built her investment expertise as a securities analyst and portfolio manager with banks, trust departments, and investment advisory firms, including Wachovia Bank & Trust, Virginia Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Services, CFB Advisory, and Davidson, Garrard & Goode.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and management from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
