Anne M. Umbarger, Principal, Chief Investment Officer
Anne creates and manages custom diversified portfolios to meet the needs of MontVue’s clients. But that’s only the beginning of what she does. She has come to understand that her “why” at MontVue is to serve her clients by bringing clarity to chaotic situations in life.
These situations may be purely financial like estimating cash flow of retirement expenditures, or they may involve helping to organize life after a divorce or death, or bridging various family dynamics to create a successful estate plan. All have financial repercussions, and all necessitate a client relationship built on trust, authenticity and accessibility. Anne’s attentive personality and sharp mind serve her well as she helps her clients navigate some of life’s most stressful financial scenarios.
Anne co-founded MontVue in 1999 after serving various roles at Davidson, Garrard & Goode. She is a 1996 graduate of the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce earning a Bachelor of Science degree with concentrations in finance and management.
